Author’s Notes: This poem is a series of Haiku’s. The first Haiku is a simple one. Seventeen syllables on one line, each representing it’s element. The simple Haiku is then followed by a standard 5-7-5 Haiku. The 5-7-5 description Haiku start with as description of a noun then the next two lines describe an action derived from the noun.

Fujin is the Shinto God of the Wind. He is said to have released the winds to allow the Sun to shine.

Benton is the Goddess of love, the arts, wisdom, poetry, good fortune and water.
